Comments
Comments: Met everyone at the Beaver Brook parking lot to spot a car and headed over to the end of the Little River Road. Plenty of parking at both spots. We took the one mile trail just over the bridge to get to the summer parking lot of the North Twin trail. All river crossings were bridged and safe to cross. The Snow down low was about and inch of wet and sticky snow. We bare booted to about 3800' where we decided to change into snowshoes (probably should have switched sooner). The upper elevations had 3 to 4 inches of new snow with major drifting between the Twins. Coming down the Twinway from South Twin to the hut was not too bad, plenty of snow with a couple of icy areas that were easy to maneuver around. The trip up to Galehead was fairly uneventful, plenty of snow, no issues at all. We used snowshoes all the back to the car at the beaver Brook parking. We could have switched back to bare booting but just didn't want to carry the shoes };-)

Thanks Emily, Jeff, Joe, and Al for a great hike.
