One step-over, easy for Joe, and just high enough to be a pita for Marisa |

Met Harley, a big chocolate lab who was having a great time, at the summit or Moriah. By the looks of the tracks he left, he had a great time all the way back down, too. |

We kept regular Hillsounds on out and back. We could have changed to the Pros but were getting enough purchase on the steeper sections where the snow cover was thinner. The snow deepened from Surprise to Moriah. Not enough to need snowshoes, but there were some folks wearing them in this section. Got a few nice sled runs in coming back from Surprise, which made up for the lack of views on this cloudy day. |
