Comments
Comments: Used light traction from the Lafayette Place Campground. Lonesome Lake Trail is well-traveled and packed down. Fishin' Jimmy Trail has several steep icy sections and is also packed down. We were fine with light traction although there were a few tricky spots. Kinsman Ridge Trail up to North Kinsman was also packed down. We then took Kinsman Ridge Trail back through The Cannonballs and down Lonesome Lake Trail. We left our snowshoes in the car but would have liked them for The Cannonballs. We weren't postholing but that part of the trail is not well-packed yet.
