Started early afternoon. Clouds over the higher summits, temp around 5°. Started with micros as I headed up. After passing silver cascade the snow became thick enough for snowshoes. Kept them on until the ledge just before the summit of Jackson. From there I opted for hilltones back to the car. Chilly but nice day for a quick afternoon hike. #17 on my winter list. |
