Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Sawyer River Road closed. Only car in the lot in the AM and one group of snowmobilers in the PM. Minor traffic accident at the end of the road.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Drifts 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossable. We took the old route and not the reroute with the higher crossing.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: We moved branches all day. Isis tried to help but it just looked like playing. Lady Grey moved one blow down and we packed out the drifts.

Dog-Related Notes: Isis had a great day in her new purple coat!

Comments: Great day to grab Carrigian while I have time off before starting work. Nice to be joined by Lady Grey and enjoyed the conversation very much! Braving the cold temps was well worth it for the gift of miles of views.
