 | Comments: |
New snow for the entire trip, from 2 inches at lower elevation to 5 inches in upper, with some drifts in places. This was a much harder traverse then my January and February traverses, and took 13 hours. For the most part trail was easy to follow except for a sections after Mt. Zealand to Zeacliff. This was a great day to be out, and we even saw a moment of sunshine. No new snow during the day at all, only snow flurries which didn't amount to anything.
Now that you have a path in the new snow, the surface is solid from existing snow. |
