We were able to summit Lincoln and Lafayette despite snow, wind, and low visibility (50-100 feet) thanks to the lack of deep snow which made the trail discernible.
Trails were easy and well packed below tree line, we were in microspikes all day. Above tree line had deeper snow but we still preferred spikes to snowshoes due to rocky terrain and inconsistent snow cover. |
