| Comments: |
Snowed steadily, couple inches below tree line on trail, packed down by hikers. Icy spots hidden by snow, should be more obvious after today. Microspikes will get the job done currently. South peak blustery with low visibility. Above treeline at north peak much harsher, very windy (30-40mph?)and chilly with very low visibility. Sinking to about the knees at times, wind wiped out tracks, hard to see one cairn from the last, thanks trusty compass. Fun day, beautiful hike with the fresh snow! |
