Although I was able to bare boot up and back, light traction would have probably been easier. The small amount of new snow has bonded with and/or softened the ice. Just 2 or 3 sections around the spring were tricky. Up higher the trail is in great shape esp. between the peaks. Sun come out this afternoon and I saw some of the most unique cloud formations I can remember. |
