Comments
Comments: Nice day to be out. I started out in microspikes but switched to crampons after the Carrigain Notch Trail junction only because the wet, sticky snow kept balling underneath the microspikes. However there were places higher up where crampons were nice to have on. No one else on the trail today, had Carrigain completely to myself. Left the parking area around 7:30 this morning, back at 5:30 under moonlight and headlamp.
