Hiked the Franconia Ridge Loop. Went up the falling waters trail across the franconia ridge trail and then down greenleaf and old bridle path. There was allot of ice on the trails. microspikes were necessary however crampons were much better especially for the trails going up and down. Having an ice ax and trekking poles proved to be extremely helpful. |
