| Comments: |
The trail is ice with intermittent patches of snow. Hill Sounds managed fine but full crampons would have been useful on some of the larger ice flows. Lots of folks on the trail today. The wind was really blowing on the summit. Just before the final slab climb I took a small bypass through the scrub so there was something to hold on to in the strong wind. A family I passed on the way up said they measured a wind gust of 68MPH. The summit it was a quick tag and run today. |
