Comments
Comments: Falling Waters and Old Bridle Path in really good shape, nicely packed out. We wore snowshoes up to the hut, although they would not really have been needed. Switched to microspikes for the rest of the trip. From treeline on Greenleaf over the ridgeline is a combination of deep drifts which are postholed, icy patches, bare rock, and packed powder.
Beautiful day with mild temps and no wind below treeline. Plenty of wind with some strong wind gusts above treeline. We wore facemasks and goggles as we were facing into the wind and sun while traversing the ridgeline.
