Comments
Comments: No snow encountered until perhaps 2,700 feet. Below there, trail was mostly dry, with some areas of running water. Monorail started off patchy thereafter, becoming consistent at about 3,500 feet, where I put on my snowshoes. Depths soon increased to 3-4 feet. I kept my snowshoes on until reaching treeline on the Carriage Road. From there to the summit, there were some patches of windblown snow from the weekend, about 6-10" deep, with bareboot tracks through them. Light traction not a bad idea for the in-between areas below the consistent monorail.
