Trail Maintenance Notes: Two large blowdowns on Greeley Ponds Tr. The one just before the Mt Osceola Tr junction requires following a herd path to the left.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy hike for Marlie today. She even met a new friend, Harley. 4 paw drive and a low center of gravity seem to be key to the steep sections. Marlie climbed up the Chimney bypass without hesitation then descended as well on the return. Some dogs may be uncomfortable.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a silver aluminum water bottle on the Mt Osceola Tr just west of the Greeley Ponds Tr Jctn.

Comments
Comments: The trails were nicely packed. We all wore snowshoes but saw others with micros and crampons. The steep sections heading up East Osceola were starting to get wiped clean of snow due to heavy traffic and many buttsledders. No one had be on the Chimney proper and many were using the bypass bypass. There were no tracks heading west from the summit of Mt Osceola since the last snow. It was a nice hike today with some old and new friends. I wish hadn't forgotten my camera.
