Comments
Comments: Cold temperatures seem to have kept most people inside today, only ran into two other groups on Mt. Pierce during out hike. It wasn't as cold as expected, however, and we ended up with clear skies, amazing views of the Presis and no wind (unlike conditions on Washington).
We ended up happily wearing snowshoes the whole day, but you could easily get by in any form of light traction also. There's lots of loose powder but the central lane of the trail is well-packed and makes for easy walking.
