Comments
Comments: Trail was broken out by snow-shoe travelers the day before and is in good shape.
Steve (aka Little Brown Mushroom) and I opted for traction (crampons) rather than snow-shoes to better deal with the steeper sections and felt good about the choice. We carried the shoes and they would have been slightly better in some of the flatter sections that were lightly drifted over.
Summit conditions were rough - pretty much in line with forecast.
