Wore snowshoes today car to car. First one on the trail today. Broke trail out to the views, where a bare booter (carrying skis) had entered and I followed his boot prints up until about 6 snowboarders came down and smoothed the trail out (big help). Trail was unbroken from the Sosman Jct. to the summit, with some drifting. About 6 to 8 inches of new snow overall. On the way back down, I passed at least 20 Hikers and a few barebooters humping skis. Most everyone was wearing snowshoes, so there is a nice trough now. |
