Comments
Comments: Finally a day with forecasted winds in the acceptable range for some Southern Pressies. Almost no wind on the hike so it was better than forecasted. Minimal snow covered ice on the trail down low. 4-8 inches snow on the ridge packed by foot traffic. A few 8-12 inch drifts in places. Hillsounds worked great today, snowshoes not needed. Good views but with high clouds/overcast skies. The sun was glowing through the clouds, trying hard to break out. Warm temperatures made for a comfortable hike.
