I arrived at 8:15,parked in lot#3 plenty of people out on the ski areas. |

Ice - Black, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Rock hopping at the start, after that pretty stable ice bridges developing. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Nothing to note except, There was one birch tree that appeared to have rotted at the base and fell,however it was caught up high so no trail problem. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Plenty of available water down low but not so much after third crossing. At that you are still about a mile and a half from the top. If you bring a dog you may want to share what you have. |

I had barebooted up to the second Crossing and then put on spikes. There were five in front of me and did a nice job of packing down the fresh two inches of new powder. There is a nice monorail developing with some ice underneath on top of some of the bigger rocks… It was my16th winter but my first this season. As I was coming down there were ten heading up. Nice to see so many out. |
