| Comments: |
Fishin Jimmy has plenty of ice and flows. I used crampons from the Hut to the Summits and back down to be safe. Too icy and not enough snow for good glissading and coverage of obstacles. Lot to hut packed and in good condition for micros. Did not see enough snow anywhere to warrant snowshoes. Ridge is solid but still a little icy and slippery so micros or crampons a must. Hopefully it snows a bunch tomorrow and a deeper pack builds above the ice layer. Thanks to RDR for the killer beta and Snow Leopard for setting pace. |
