Trail was packed powder over ice. Traction made the hike easy. We wore microspikes on the way up, switching to Hillsounds near the top and left them on for the way down. Only a few inches of snow at lower elevations and maybe 4-5 inches up high. Knock you down windy on the summit so our visit was quick. Congratulations to my wife Kim on her 1st Winter 48 peak! |
