Wanted to work off some Christmas cookies, so I did a quick solo trip up Tecumseh. Left a note for the sleeping family and left just after sunrise.
Not enough snow for snowshoes this morning. Wore microspikes from start to finish, though there were times I wished I'd remembered the Hillsound Pros. You may want to bring the 'shoes just in case, though, since the snow is currently falling fast in Waterville Valley.
Had the pleasure of seeing Jim Towle - he caught up with me near the summit, and we shared our hike down. Many thanks for enjoyable conversation, Jim. Hope to run into you on the trails again soon.
