Comments
Comments: A nice afternoon hike to start out the winter season. Met about a dozen folks coming down the trail as we headed up. They all seemed to be enjoying their "late fall" hike! HAHAHA! We were in microspikes all day. Lower trail was still a bit rocky in places and now with slush in between. Middle section (above the view) was good hiking on the way up, but a little worse off by the time we descended due to the rain starting. Significant slush and melt along the ridge and towards the summit. Drizzled all along the ridge and back most of the way down. Never rained hard, no wind, and warm temps. Remarkably comfortable for hiking! Thanks Mark for great winter start! V--
