Thank goodness somebody went to the hut Monday because I don't think we would have made it if we had to break trail the whole way. As it was we had to break 2-4" of snow then 12" - 18" from the hut. Lots of rocks were hidden under the fluffy snow so caution had to be taken going up and down but now trail has had 3 people over it. Good day but long. Weather was good and no wind. Long first snowshoe hike of the season. |
