| Comments: |
A foot or more of fresh snow. Broke trail on snowshoes from the parking lot/Crawford Path Connector trail to the junction of Crawford Path. Crawford Path was broken out to the Mizpah Cutoff Trail but we still needed snowshoes. Mizpah Cutoff Trail appeared to be broken out but we continued on Crawford Path and broke trail to the Webster Cliff Trail junction. There are a few steep scrambles with significant ice beneath the snow along the way. From Webster Cliff Trail junction to the summit it was mostly ice covered rock with minimal snow depth. We used snowshoes with good traction. Otherwise microspikes or crampons would be needed. |
