Comments
Comments: A thank-you to whomever broke the trail from the Depot to the Field-Tom col (presumably on Sunday). I had to break trail from the col to Mt. Tom. No tracks went westward from the col. (Also, the Avalon Trail upward from the Avalon / A-Z junction was not broken.) Generally, snow cover was good, but with a few rocks just below the surface here and there, and somewhat bony stream crossings. On the descent, I noticed a barebooter had travelled the lower few tenths of a mile of the Avalon Trail.
