Comments
Comments: Trail started out damp as it had rained earlier, had some puddles and some muddy spots but nothing bad.Once on liberty spring trail there was some running water on trail but again nothing major, around 2700' started seeing patches of new snow, from there on the snow was more steady. at 3000' the trail was very solid snow, didnt posthole once! Had to put on microspikes just below the summit. Left them on until we were back down to 3000'....All in all it was a great hike, Zero views, very cold and windy and when we were back at the truck the summit was in the clear. A great day to hike!
