Parking/Access Road Notes: Gale River Road closed. Lot on Gale River Road was still accessible today. Not sure if it gets plowed so with the storm coming today may have been the last day to use it. One other car there today.

Water Crossing Notes: Mother nature has been busy making bridges. With the negative temperatures the bridges are coming along nicely. All crossings easy.

Comments: The calm before the storm... I managed to get in a great hike to Garfield today before the storm arrives. Bright sunny skies and cold cold weather. Trail was in great shape. 1 to 2 inches down low and up to 8 inches on Garfield Ridge Trail.
