Comments
Comments: We had a great hike up Osseo trail. Based on my recent hikes I expected ice over the stairs but there was none. New snow over all the trail ice. We put hillsounds on when we started gaining elevation but the guy who joined us bare booted to the top. He put crampons on at the junction with Flume slide trail and wore them until we were well off any steep parts coming down. It was windy on summit cone but I have been there when it has been worse and colder. It was a nice hike in the new fluffy snow. Probably 6 inchs near top.
