Comments
Comments: ice and more ice! and just trace amounts of snow on the trail. micro spikes were fine but i did slip a few times. i think crampons may have been useful if continuing on to mt flume.
i had trouble finding the herd path from the bike path but it was very obvious on the return trip. It's just by the trail junction sign of liberty and flume with some logs blocking the path. it looks like it gets lots of use.
