Upper lot easily accessible; one red jeep on my arrival at 3:40 pm; gone when I returned at 7:10 pm. Another pm grid hike, but not a total darkness hike, as I could wait to get started at the gate. |

Ice was boilerplate above about 2800 ft after the trail swings left to the long switchback on west side of ridge. Put on Microspikes, but could have used something more aggressive. |
