I hoped to find the gate open however its closed and locked at this time. Adds another 1.2 road walk each way according to my Garman |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
I avoided the first crossing to the left and crossed on the bridge. Second crossing was iced over enough in conjunction with a log to cross on the way up, I rock hopped it on the way back. |

A downed white birch in the switch back area. |

Found a traction device Pretty far up so I brought it down and hung it on the gate |

| Comments: |
Kind of a damp drizzly day with lots of wind but all in all very enjoyable. Lots of melting had happened by the time I headed down. Ice was getting slushy. Bottom third was pretty much bare at 2:30. Very forceful winds at summit at 12:30. I have no idea what the wind speed might have been. I bare booted all day. |
