Comments: Gorgeous day on the ridge in an undercast. Liberty Springs trail is largely free of snow and ice for the first 1/2 mile from the bushwhack, then gradually becomes primarily ice to the ridge. The ridge up to Liberty and over to Flume is mostly packed snow and in great shape. Take care descending Liberty Springs, even with micro spikes on....
