| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings easy even with bare boots. It was a relatively warm day today, however. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
5 blowdowns to crawl over - first is about .2 miles from trailhead, next is about 1.1 miles, third is around 2200ft elevation before first significant water crossing, then the final 2 are around 3100ft elevation |

| Comments: |
Snow covered trail for the first couple of miles, no traction was needed today until we hit the ice floes - looked like someone had let a hose run down the trail! Put on microspikes at that point and were fine, as the surface of the ice was soft due to warm temps. Lots of ice up to the hut, then some drifts between the rocks on the Osgood trail but otherwise footing was good. |
