Comments
Comments: An epic hike! Wore microspikes from the Lincoln Woods parking lot to Zealand Road, then bare booted the road. Lots of ice under a dusting of snow on the Lincoln Woods Trail. A pleasant hike up to Bondcliff with 2-3 inches of snow up high. The rock step going up to Bondcliff was snow covered with some ice underneath (not a problem if you "think with your feet" like rock climbing). Great to see Long Mark and Georg with a crew at the West Bond spur!
Twinway from Guyot was full of postholes and drifts. The rest of the hike was like a sidewalk! A highlight was Bobcat hiking in to meet us at the Zealand Hut to give us that extra push on hike out. A fun hike with Kristy and Pemi.
