| Water Crossing Notes: |
The first significant water crossing was moving very swiftly and was very high for crossing with my pup Isis. We turned back after watching someone fall in. He kept going and hopefully summited or turned around to take care of frostbite. |

All is well on Signal Ridge. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Isis had a good day and enjoyed being out. She got cold while trying to negotiate the water crossing and I opted to turn back to look out for her. |

| Comments: |
A decent time out there and yes, I wish that I could have negotiated the water crossing. It was not so much the crossing but the return trip when I was tired that had me concerned. Plus, Isis was shivering a little from the cold. At 15lbs, short legs, and even with her double coat, she still gets chilled. I will get this one next time once some snow falls and the water level returns to normal. Dog owners may want to take care at this crossing. |
