| Comments: |
Trails mostly hard packed snow. Significant ice above Mizpah-Cutoff jct. on Crawford Path and on upper and lower sections of Webster-Jackson Tr. Webster Cliff Tr. had minimal ice coming off Pierce and then once again on the climb of the summit cone on Jackson. We barebooted until descending from Jackson where microspikes worked well. Would've used spikes if going down Crawford Path as well. Most everyone seen today using a model of spikes. Few barebooters and crampons also. Nice gift of a clear day with chilly start and minimal winds through mid afternoon. |
