Comments
Comments: Some sort of traction is recommended. The trail had tons of flow ice on it and without traction a person could have problems. I wore microspikes top to bottom and didn't have any problem with traction. Trail is in good shape minus the two blowdowns that could be problems for short people. John in NH might want to bring along a ladder or I am going to have to give him a boost up and over. Snow is firmly packed and allowed me to get up and down in little over 2 hours. Saw lots of unprepared people for the conditions. Hopefully they will have some fingers left to grab a hold of the leftover turkey leg.
