Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking for about 10 cars.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Ice - Blue, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Both crossings are ok currently. A bit more ice and they will become problematic. Especially the first crossing. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Big blowdown mess near water crossing. Herd path around it. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Steep rocky trial for a dog. Did see prints from East back to Osceola from a dog and human that came up from Tripoli Rd side.

Comments
Comments: Minimal snow down low. There is ice hidden under a 1-2" amount on the steeper sections. Put spikes on at the East Peak slide. Good choice, although of the 9 others we saw all were bare booting. Chimney bypass was way to go as chimney is mostly an ice dome. Used the spikes all the way down to the trail junction. Cold and windy but a great day out, with the added benefit of meeting Gary T. and hiking with him.
