Xena n I watched sunset on Pierce n headed to Washington. Arrived there at 10 pm. We barely used our headlamps since moon was shining over the presi. Between Eisenhower n Monroe snow was about 6 inches deep. On the way back, we chose to follow Crawford path without going over the peaks. There were spots close to 2 feet of snow we had to deal with. It was extremely tiring breaking that trail but we did it. |
