All five Rocky Branch crossings very doable |

Rocky branch from shelter for 3/4 mile is a stream. Glen boulder and Davis well marked by cairns. |

Upper portions of Glen oulder and Davis had drifts up to 3 feet. |

Was a 2 day hike. Started Nov. 15 Glen Boulder was spectacular. Slide Peak, Gulf of Slides Boot Spur, and Washington displayed in sun. Winds gusted at about 40mph. Camped just below Isolation and headed to Home by Rocky Branch.
The Rocky Branch II shelter is in much better shape than expected. Folks at Pinkham Notch advised bringing a tarp because of hole in roof. There are now two tarps left there. |
