Comments
Comments: The weather forecast called for scattered showers after 2:00 PM but the showers came well before 2:00 - which made the snow a little more sticky than usual. Many of us managed to get to the junction of the Hancock Loop Trail without any traction but we then needed it for the steep climb to South Hancock - we kept them on until we got back to the same junction from North Hancock. The snow was about 4"-6" deep between the peaks but it was well packed down. Say a lot of kids out on the trail (which was great) but many were wearing jeans and sneakers. They struggled a lot coming down from South Hancock - not the right clothing and hear for a climb in these conditions. Also got to see Heather and Kali.
