Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Saw four blowdowns, three of the four were over 12 inches in diameter. One between the Crawford Connector trail head and the junction with the main trail, one at about 2500' and another at about 3500' before the Mizpah cutoff, and one at about 3750'. A couple will be an issue with snowshoeing as they are questionable step-over/duck-unders.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see any dogs on the trail. It might be tough with all the ice in places.
Bugs
Bugs: No bugs to report.

Comments
Comments: Crawford Path never disappoints, whatever the conditions. Lots of ice on the trail and while I saw some people heading up with minimal gear I would not have been comfortable coming down the Crawford Path without Microspikes. Best advice would be to put then on just past the junction, as you get to the ledgy rocks on the trail, and keep them on to the summit. Beautiful cool day with not much sun, but the wind was not as harsh as predicted. But still, happy to have a light balaclava on up to the summit.
