Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I was the only car at the end of Hancock road at 7:00am. Two others when I left at 1:45pm.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Bypass the first two water crossings by staying on the East side(Left on your ascent) of Little River. This way you will only have to cross the river once. The crossing is challenging, but I found a spot about 50' downstream with partially submerged rocks that weren't covered with ice.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns, half a dozen step overs and a duck under or two. Not much for blazes, but there is only one trail to follow.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Zuzu (golden) and Bear (lab) had a GREAT time. Plenty of water during the first 2-3 miles of this hike.

Comments
Comments: You might want to bring microspikes with you. I put mine on and took them off, then put them on and then took them off. In others words, there was a number of places that the trail was covered with flow ice, things were melting on my return.
