Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Most were easy. The upper crossing was a bit dicey. I stepped in the moving water because I knew it wouldn't be icy under the surface. Quick steps resulted in dry feet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One blow down on the cut off to the upper parking. Too big for me to move alone and no saw.

Comments
Comments: It will be tough to top this day this year. Except for on the summit, it was pretty calm and felt warmer than it was. The trail had lots of ice but the rocks were bone dry and there was no snow to hide the icy spots. The ledges in the upper part of the ammo were often ice covered but most were easily navigated. There were a few places where I carefully walked on ice flow. It would have been annoying to keep putting traction on for 3 or 4 steps and taking it off again. It was an incredible day in the Whites.
