Parking/Access Road Notes: Gale River Road open. four other vehicles in lot on my arrival around 2 pm

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: fairly easy to rock hop 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: four blow downs between about 2 and 3 miles up trail; one birch with broad canopy across trail forces a detour; other two birches and beech can be stepped over or under; moderate size saw would be sufficient to remove all (I forgot to carry mine on this day); nearly all water bars need cleaning
