| Dog-Related Notes: |
Icy conditions may prove tricky for some dogs. Cinnilla could easily bypass it all - except for the area around the small brook 0.4 miles from the Crawford Path jct. On the leash both up and down she handled it well and no issues. There are some water puddles in this area (plenty of water at lower elevation) and it is still possible to break through the ice covering the brook if access to the water is needed. |

| Comments: |
The upper two-thirds of Edmands Path (from about 3,000 ft) has patchy ice-coverage. Most of it is easily bypassed of there are enough bare, dry rocks protruding to provide good footing.
The small brook approximately 0.4 miles from the junction with Crawford Path is frozen over and there is a lot of ice in that area. Some traction is advisable (I used microspikes both up and down). 3 other hikers managed to get by this area without any traction - but it is tricky. |
