Found these basketball to hay bail sized structures that seemed to be made out of granite. Not sure what they were but the slowed me down today. |

The trail is in quite nice shape. Some ice and hard snow along brook on the way to the 2nd big crossing. After going across, the sun has melted the snow on that side and it was almost ice free until after the intersection with the view. Nice snow from there to the top. I was easily able to stay on top of the trail with microspikes on. |
