| Comments: |
A beautiful day in the mountains, particularly above tree-line. All the peaks above treeline were white, contrasting with the fall colors below. Trails were pretty much fully covered with a thinish coating of snow and not-so-hard ice, above about 3500 feet, so used microspikes above about 3800'. Trails pretty much clear of snow/ice below about 3000 feet. |
